Managed Kubernetes – what is it?

It is a service where we design, implement, monitor, and develop the client’s Kubernetes environments. We manage Kubernetes instances regardless of location— maintained locally at the client’s site, an external provider, or in Beyond.pl data centers, which Beyond Solutions uses.

We understand clients have different needs, so we offer two types of Managed Kubernetes support. Whether you need architecture support or complete environment management, we’ve got you covered.

SysOps: We take care of Kubernetes architecture support, including system components. Application components are not supported in this model.
DevOps: Complete support of Kubernetes environments, including the application layer (startup, scaling).

Managed Kubernetes SysOps service scope:

Design and deployment of Kubernetes clusters along with components alongside the clusters (load balancer, databases, backup, etc.).
Maintenance and care of the cluster nodes and all virtual machines are integral to the Kubernetes infrastructure.
Updates of Kubernetes and the operating systems of the nodes and virtual machines are part of the Kubernetes infrastructure.
Management of permissions within the cluster – Beyond Solutions manages Kubernetes system namespaces, and clients are granted permissions to specific namespaces where they run their applications.
Backup of infrastructure – backup of etcd, backup of cluster nodes, backup of databases, and backup of virtual machines are included in the Kubernetes infrastructure.
